Hi, I'm Sam, and I’m so glad you’re here! I am a healthcare policy nerd by day, tarot reader by moonlight, and a person who has always lived with one foot in the analytical and the other in the intuitive. Witchy since the womb, according to some people.

I hold an MPH and spend my professional life deep in systems thinking. How institutions work, where they fail people, and what it takes to build something better.

Tarot, for me, is a map and a mirror. A system that has been refined across centuries, for asking better questions, for sitting with complexity, and for letting the mystical peek through.

My spiritual practice is rooted in plants, service, and a long relationship with the liminal. The thresholds. The in-between places where something new can happen.

When I'm not pulling cards, I'm in the Hudson Valley with my husband, my toddler, my two weird dogs, and a garden that is, let's be honest, still mostly aspirational. Think half native plants, half apothecary.

Wylde Card Tarot exists because I believe the mystical and the practical aren't opposites. They're collaborators.
